#FebPhotoADay Day 27 – Something You Ate
Day 9 of my juice fast. I’m not even liking the taste of the juice right now, so I barely drank any today. I mostly had water. Anyway, this is the extent of what I “ate”. I had a few sips of this, and a few sips of a green vegetable-based juice. Color me depressed (and starving). I don’t know how much longer I can do this.

This sounds like a terrible idea. Why it just eat healthy things in moderation?
Only in America would someone say that a diet consisting of only raw fruits and vegetables in juice form sounds like a terrible idea.
Honestly, I don’t know how you can do this, either. I would have to be hospitalized. May I ask why you need to “eat” healthy by taking in these fruits and veggies in juice form? Why can’t you just eat the fruits and veggies in their natural state? I think I’m missing some key piece of information here.
P.S. It’s not good (ever) to starve yourself.
Juice fasting dramatically increases the amount of veggies and fruits that one can consume in a day. The juicing extracts all the nutrients from the veggies and fruits. So I may take in the amount of nutrients from an insane amount of vegetables – far more than I could ever eat – while giving my digestive system a rest and allowing my body to detox and reboot.
Ah, yes. I hadn’t thought about the AMOUNT of fruits and veggies you can take in with eating them normally vs. fasting. I wasn’t thinking, I guess. I still couldn’t do it unless I absolutely had to. Drinking fruit smoothies sounds delicious. Drinking juiced veggies sounds disgusting.
